In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability and clean energy adoption, we are commissioning a total of 3.3 MW of Solar Power capacity across our locations. We have taken this initiative to show our group’s proactive approach towards reducing our carbon footprint and transitioning to renewable energy across our operations.
The decentralised Solar Installations have been strategically set up at multiple sites to directly power on-site activities such as Drilling, Crushing, and Mineral processing. Collectively, these Solar units will generate about 5 million units of clean electricity annually, leading to significant reductions in conventional energy usage and operating costs.
Through this initiative, we offset about 4,000 Metric tons of CO2 emissions each year, contributing meaningfully to climate change mitigation. The Solar Systems are equipped with advanced energy monitoring and management tools to ensure optimal performance and maintenance efficiency.
By integrating solar energy into our core operations, we are not only improving our energy resilience but also supporting India’s national renewable energy targets. This green investment demonstrates the group’s dedication to responsible growth and sets a strong example for sustainable practices within the Mining and Heavy industries sector.
